where it began…
Street Beats was created by Adelaide-based artist, Ben Watson. The concept emerged through splicing a portable DJ harness with wireless headsets. The portable rig enables battery-powered decks to broadcast a live audio experience while on the move.
Street Beats was first brought to life at the 2022 Adelaide Fringe. It quickly gathered positive acclaim, selling out shows at Australia’s biggest art festival.
